Holding On Finishes Festival Tour
GCG Pictures latest film, Holding On, recently completed its film festival tour. This dramatic short film appeared at over a half dozen recognized festivals across the nation. No plans have been made for release on home video at this time.

Interns, is scheduled to begin filming in Fall 1997. The comedy will be shot in Palm Beach, Florida and is slated for release in 1999.

GCG Associates End Productions
FEBRUARY 2, 1998 -- GCG Picture Associates today announced that it is halting production of the feature length comedy Interns and the action film Vigilante. GCG is also closing its Pompano Beach offices when the lease expires in June 1998. The company cited that the loss of equipment and film stock at the GCG Storage Facility due to an October 1997 fire as the cause. But GCG has suffered from several setbacks within the last three years that has caused them to shut down. Contract disputes, loss of staff and ineffective management were also factors.

December 3, 1998 -- Several companies are bidding on the remaining assets of GCG Picture Associates. A transaction should be complete Q1 1999.
